The Professor is Dead.....Sort of

Russell Johnson, aka The Professor on Gilligan's Island, has passed away at the age of 89 of natural causes.

While sad news indeed, do not fret - our Professor is in perfect health and continues his residency in Charm City.

Another Parent of the Year Candidate

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A Cedar Rapids woman was accused of arranging her daughter's effort at prostitution. Mary J. Doolin was arrested Wednesday in connection with a Sept. 29 incident in Coralville. Police said Doolin sent her daughter to meet an undercover officer who had contacted her during a prostitution investigation. According to police, Doolin's daughter, 37-year-old Debra Voshell, was later charged with pandering.

Police said Doolin admitted to running a prostitution ring for a number of years and has prior convictions for pimping and prostitution.

Doolin was being held Thursday in the Johnson County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.

2/10 Live Show Cancelled

Due to the Blizzard(s) of 2010, ITR will not be live on air today. This is the first time in the history of the show that mother nature has cancelled an airing of the weekly show....so you know it must be bad outside.

Baltimore is currently blanketed with about 30 inches of snow...if you were living in a certain city that starts with a C and ends with an O and in the middle is HICAG there would be no problem with getting into the station to broadcast. But since we live in a city which t is a cross between Mayberry and Biloxi, all travel is essentially impossible.

But don't worry, da Prof and Coach B will be back on the air live next Wednesday and it will be a particular randy show, as Coach will have gotten off of a red-eye flight a couple of hours prior to the show. See you then!

Police: Man tries to buy crack with credit card

FLINT, Mich. - Authorities said a man accused of stealing a car then reporting it stolen remains in custody after telling police he was robbed at gunpoint while trying to buy crack cocaine with a credit card. The Flint Journal said the man reported Thursday night that a 2003 Chevy Malibu had been stolen.

Police reports indicated the vehicle was previously stolen out of Lapeer, about 50 miles north-northwest of Detroit.

The suspect is being lodged at the Genesee County Jail.

No further details were released.

Ohio strip club hosts 'Lap dances for Haiti'

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A strip club in Ohio has raised $1,000 for Haitian earthquake relief during what was billed as "Lap dances for Haiti."

Marilyn's on Monroe in Toledo donated the $10 cover charges collected Saturday to ISOH (I-S-O-H)/IMPACT, an organization based in suburban Perrysburg that provides food and clothing for Haiti.

Marilyn's general manager Kenny Soprano says his establishment had been looking for a reason to hold a charity fundraiser even before the quake, as a way to improve its image. He says you don't hear much about strip clubs giving back to the community.

ISOH/IMPACT CEO Linda Greene doesn't have a problem with where the money came from. She says her group appreciates any donations to help Haiti.

Tiger Woods Update

According to RadarOnline, Tiger Woods is leaving sex addiction rehab by the end of this week. His wife Elin reportedly flew to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to bring him home, sources said, adding that the couple plan to go away together.

Hope he behaves on vacation.

Should be a Fun Weekend in Charm City

So after this past weekends dusting and last nights blast from Old Man Winter, the local meteoroligists are predicting a "major snow event" for the coming weekend. Early predictions are calling for between 10-12 inches with some areas receiving up to 20 inches.

As we speak, the checkout lines at all major supermarkets are filling up, orders of toilet paper, bread and milk have quadrupled and every Oldsmobuick in town is sitting in line at gas stations for fear that every station sells out of petrol.

I've always questioned how many times a day people in this town use the bathroom during snow storms. I've also wondered why bread is such an important item. Here's a thought...

Learn how to drive, see a doctor about your overactive bladders and colons and, for goodness sakes...stay home!
