For 5+ years, Coach B. and the Professor hijacked the airways each week on Loyola Radio to bring you everything you needed to know, and many things you didn't, from the world of Golf, Sports and Entertainment.

IN THE ROUGH! ended its run in February of 2010 but lives on right here on the world wide web.

SONGS OF 1981

So we decided at the last minute to do the 1981 theme from the poll since only 3 people voted (and we were 2 of them)... Coach was unusually well prepared and I had to wing it. So here's the playlist as it happened:

Van Halen: Unchained (C)
Soft Cell: Tainted Love (P)
Rush: Limelight (C)
Rick James: Super Freak (Part 1) (P)
Joe Walsh: Life of Illusion (C)
ZZ Top: Pearl Necklace (P)
38 Special: Fantasy Girl (C)
Crack The Sky: Hot Razors Through My Heart (C)
Donnie Iris: Ah Leah! (C)
Stray Cats: Stray Cat Strut (P)
U2: I Will Follow (C)
The Moody Blues: The Voice (P)
The Meters: Cissy Strut (P)
Greg Kihn Band: The Breakup Song (P)
Def Leppard: You Got Me Runnin' (C)
Pat Benatar: Fire and Ice (P)
(some strange karaoke version of AC/DC's For Those About to Rock) (C)
Police: Spirits in the Material World (C)
Rolling Stones: She's My Little Rock and Roll (C)
Squeeze: Tempted (C)
April Wine: Just Between You and Me (P)
Rick Springfield: Jessie's Girl (C)

I allowed Jessie's Girl to run, only because Coach was so prepared for the show. It was a low blow to finish with that, especially after I ignored Quarterflash... I was very disappointed that The Weather Girls "It's Raining Men" (Coach's favorite song) was released in 1982 and thus ineligible for today's theme.
